Dr. Ashutosh is an alumnus of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and has specialised in ophthalmology from Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences, Indore. He has completed his research cum clinical fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal diseases and Retinopathy of Prematurity from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He has presentations at various national meets to his credit and is actively involved in teaching and research activities.

His clinical interests include surgery for all sorts of vitreo-retinal diseases, laser photocoagulation, diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of prematurity, retinal vascular occlusions, age related macular degeneration, ocular oncology, pediatric retina etc. Dr Ashutosh is also a keen researcher and has several publications in indexed journals.
